A Message from Pastor Johnny Sandoval Jr. : Together in Faith During Difficult Times

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior,

It is with a heavy heart that I share some unfortunate news with our beloved church family. Yesterday, January 17, 2025, at 5:44 PM, an individual caused damage to one of the beautiful stained glass windows in our sanctuary by throwing a metal object. This window has been a cherished part of our church—a reflection of God’s light and love and a piece of the rich history of Christ the Rock New Life Center Ministries.

While the damage to this treasured symbol is disheartening, I am reminded that the strength of our church is not found in the building or its adornments, but in the people who gather within it. The true sanctuary is the love, faith, and unity we share as a body of believers.

A Call to Unity and Prayer

As we navigate this challenging moment, let us come together in prayer:

  • Pray for the individual who caused this damage, that they may come to know the peace and grace of God.
  • Pray for our church family, that we remain strong and united during this time.
  • Pray for the restoration of the window and all it symbolizes—a reminder of God’s presence and our commitment to His kingdom.

This event is a reminder that challenges and trials will come, but they also provide an opportunity to deepen our faith and demonstrate the love of Christ to others.

Seeking Your Support

We are currently assessing the extent of the damage and exploring options for restoring the stained glass window. This will likely require both time and resources. If you feel led to contribute toward the repair efforts, your support would be greatly appreciated. Donations can be made through https://www.paypal.com/donate?token=UijKxCmv45upoU9DN5khBnFoSV8vrXoqzvojTqM8P2kmtfH9Yize-5MkRFTLHwPdZNurJmAwXSNKosi_  or by reaching out to our church office.

We will provide updates as we move forward with the restoration process. In the meantime, let us remember that the sanctuary of the Lord is not made of glass or stone, but of the love and faith we hold in our hearts.

Together in Faith

Though this incident has left a mark on our physical space, it cannot diminish the strength of our community or the power of God’s love. Let us use this moment to draw closer to one another, to lean on our faith, and to show the world that we are united in Christ.

Thank you for your prayers, your love, and your continued support. Together, we will overcome this challenge and come out stronger as a church family.

May God bless you all abundantly,
Pastor Johnny Sandoval Jr.
